We took one barrel of our Wilyabrup Chardonnay and blended it with one barrel of Chenin Blanc from friends in the Swan Valley bringing two regional classics together. The Chardonnay was on solids in barrel for eight months and only racked with no fining or filtration which gives it a hazy like appearance in the glass. This adds to the wine creating a richness in both flavour and texture. The Chenin Blanc adds a refreshing citrus hit with some underlying tropical fruits. Only 600 bottles produced
Intense aromas of rockmelon, grapefruit and cucumber with underlying nuances of seasoned oak. A light to medium bodied style that displays a zippy acid line with pronounced fresh pink grapefruit, rockmelon and cucumber filling the palate. The seasoned oak assists with structure and length. A fresh and long finish with lingering fruit flavours.
